Who we are
Our website address is https://onechat.co.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user-agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address, also called a hash, may be provided to Gravatar to see if you use it. Gravatar's privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of a comment, the profile image may be visible publicly in the context of that comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid including embedded location data (GPS EXIF). Visitors may download and extract location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you may choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies for convenience, so you do not have to enter those details again when leaving another comment. These cookies last one year.
If you have an account and sign in to this website, a temporary cookie is set to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is removed when you close the browser.
When you sign in, cookies are also set to save your access information and screen-display preferences. Access cookies last two days and display-option cookies last one year. If you select “Remember me,” access lasts for two weeks. Access cookies are removed when you sign out.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is stored in your browser. It contains no personal data, only the ID of the article, and expires after one day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles may include embedded content such as videos, images or articles. Embedded content behaves as if the visitor had visited the source website directly.
Those websites may collect data, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor interaction with the embedded content, including tracking that interaction if you have an account and are signed in to that website.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically instead of being held in a moderation queue.
For users who register on the website, if any, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Users may view, edit or delete their personal information at any time, except they cannot change their username. Website administrators may also view and edit that information.
Your data rights
If you have an account or have left comments, you may request an export of the personal data held about you and may ask for deletion of personal data. This does not include data we must retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam-detection service.
